XP or Vista?

I have plans to buy a Dell desktop computer. If XP or Vista? I do not want the added security of Vista as I have Norton 360. I just need something that works quickly …. that's what I'm looking for something quickly. If XP, where "I can recover? As I have coupons for desktops Dell Inspiron. But when I go to dell.com Dell Inspiron only has Vista. How I can get XP? I getiing different opinions. Some say that the XP software will not be available after a certain time. Some say that XP is much faster than Vista. I really confused. I need real experience or opinions of people who know a lot compuers ABT. Thanks

If you want Vista Dell, then proceed to the section of small businesses. From there, you can choose XP. But you really should consider Vista. This is the future. It will not disappear. In three years, will be obsolete with XP. Learn Vista and the future, rather than behind. But getting two or 4 GB of RAM if you want performance. Using Windows Defender for anti-spyware solution, Windows Firewall for server security. Then take the free version of AVG their anti-virus solution. Add the free version of SpyBot Search & Destroy to detect other threats. You see, Norton 360 run slowly on your computer. But the love of God, consider a desktop computer.
